Wike, Gbajabiamila, Ribadu Welcome President Tinubu Back to Abuja After 10-Day Visit to Lagos

President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Monday after a 10-day working visit to Lagos State, where he held strategic meetings, commissioned projects, and participated in key national events.

He was received at the airport by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and other top government officials.

According to a statement from Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, the President had arrived in Lagos on Friday, September 26, after attending the coronation of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Ibadan.

During his stay, Tinubu met with prominent investors including:

  • Bayo Ogunlesi, CEO of Global Infrastructure Partners

  • Keem Belo-Osagie, Chairman of Metis Capital Partners and former Chairman of UBA and Etisalat

The President also visited Imo State, where he commissioned projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma and launched a book authored by the governor.

Additionally, over the weekend, Tinubu traveled to Jos, Plateau State, to attend the funeral of Mama Lydia Yilwatda, mother of APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda.
