“World Leaders have failed” – Shehu Sani on Iranian assault on Israel

Former Nigerian lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has responded to the recent Iranian assault on Israel.

The conflict escalated on Saturday evening as Iran initiated a series of drone strikes against Israel, marking the onset of a long-anticipated war between the two nations.

This retaliation followed Israel’s earlier attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria, resulting in the demise of several high-ranking Iranian officials.

Despite international efforts, including resolutions by the United Nations and diplomatic interventions by the United States, Iran remained steadfast in its vow to retaliate.

Sani expressed his concerns about the unfolding situation, emphasizing the failure of world leaders to uphold UN resolutions regarding Gaza. He lamented the imminent engulfment of the Middle East in a full-blown conflict.
