Iwuanyanwu’s Death a Major Blow to Ndigbo – Otti, Mba

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has called the death of Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, a significant loss to Nigeria and Igbos globally.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, Otti praised Iwuanyanwu as a patriot devoted to his people.

Similarly, Eze Linus Nto Mba, Chairman of Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, expressed sorrow over Iwuanyanwu’s passing. He noted that Iwuanyanwu was vocal about issues facing Igbos both in Nigeria and abroad.

The monarch highlighted Iwuanyanwu’s efforts in uniting the Igbo nation, promoting capacity building, reducing unemployment among Igbo youths by creating jobs, and providing educational opportunities. He remarked that Iwuanyanwu’s death is a considerable loss to the Igbo community.
