Oyo APC chairman, Ajiboye Omodewu dies in US

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Honorable Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, has passed away. NIGERIA NEWS 247 reports that Omodewu died in the early hours of Monday.

It was learned that he passed away in the United States of America. Omodewu previously served as a commissioner during the tenure of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

The late Omodewu was from the Itesiwaju Local Government Area in the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone.

The Publicity Secretary of the APC in Oyo State, Wasiu Olawale Sadare, confirmed the news to NIGERIA NEWS 247.

In a telephone conversation with our correspondent, Sadare stated, “The chairman is no more. It is true that the chairman is no more. He died in the early hours of today in the USA.”
