2027: South-West PDP Will Lead Effort to Defeat Tinubu in 2027 – Olaniyi

A group operating under the Gbenga Hashim-Olawepo Solidarity Movement has declared that the South-West region of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will play a leading role in unseating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The statement was made on Tuesday by the South West Coordinator of the movement, Alhaji Abass Olaniyi, who also voiced strong backing for recent PDP leaders in the region distancing themselves from FCT Minister Nyesom Wike’s endorsement of President Tinubu.

Olaniyi described Wike’s support for Tinubu as a personal decision that does not reflect the official stance of the PDP and contradicts the party’s core values and mission.

“To defeat Tinubu in 2027, the PDP must offer what the APC cannot — integrity, principle, and leadership embodied by Gbenga Hashim,” Olaniyi stated.
