David Mark, National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has reaffirmed the party’s position ahead of the 2027 general elections, vowing to oppose imposition, special privileges, and politics lacking accountability.

Mark made this declaration on Tuesday during the 2025 International Youth Day event organized by the ADC National Youth Wing in Abuja.

Represented by Salihu Lukman, a former APC National Vice Chairman (North-West), the former Senate President emphasized that the ADC aims to be a principled, people-centered alternative for Nigeria’s disillusioned youth and progressives.

The ex-Niger State military administrator also highlighted that the new phase of the ADC would be founded on unity, bravery, and dedicated service to the nation.

“Under my leadership, the ADC will uphold genuine democratic values by rejecting imposition, special privileges, and politics devoid of accountability. Internal democracy, transparency, and fairness will guide all our actions,” he stated.
