The Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has launched its e-registration project aimed at modernizing party membership management.

At a meeting in Yola on Monday to finalize plans for the exercise, party leaders were tasked with enrolling up to 200,000 new members within the first month. The event drew chairmen, officials, and prominent members from local government areas across the state.

Speaking at the occasion, Adamawa APC Secretary Dr. Raymond Chidama said the digital registration system will transform how the party tracks its members for better planning. “This digital system will help us know our members, identify them accurately, and extend opportunities to the right people,” he stated.

State APC Organizing Secretary and e-registration Coordinator Mustapha Ribadu explained that the initiative follows a review of the party’s voting performance against its membership claims. He noted that updating and validating the membership register will rebuild the party on a foundation of credibility and accuracy.

Prominent party member and governorship aspirant Abdulrahman Haske said the e-registration project would strengthen the APC ahead of the 2027 elections. “We will take back Adamawa State. Adamawa is APC, and APC is Adamawa. We lost the state in 2019 and 2023 due to internal divisions, but we are addressing that and are set on a winning path,” Haske affirmed.
