ADC coalition has PDP and APC DNA – Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, on Tuesday claimed that the recently formed opposition coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) carries the same DNA as the two major parties — the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Sani insisted that despite adopting ADC as their official platform, the coalition is not fundamentally different from the PDP and APC.

The coalition includes prominent politicians such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal, former Senate President David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, Rotimi Amaechi, among others.

Posting on X, Sani wrote: “Some people came with the DNA of the ruling party and some with the DNA of the PDP and gave birth to the coalition. And you say that baby is different.”
