The elders’ caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has urged governorship aspirants to remain patient and delay obtaining nomination forms ahead of the 2026 governorship election.

In a statement issued on Friday and signed by its Chairman, Elder Sola Akinwumi, the caucus revealed that it had received the report of its Adhoc Committee on the forthcoming poll.

The caucus also announced the formation of a Screening Committee responsible for assessing all governorship hopefuls within a set timeframe. It advised aspirants to allow the committee to complete its work before taking further steps.
