The ongoing local government election in Delta State has been marred by a low turnout, NIGERIA NEWS 247 reports. Traders at Igbudu Market and commercial transporters in Warri continued their business activities as usual.

Security operatives were sparsely present along major roads. As of 10:57 am, eligible voters had yet to leave their homes to cast their ballots in Warri South, Uvwie, and the home of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in Osubi, Okpe Local Government Areas.
