Former Senate President Pius Anyim Officially Joins APC

Former Senate President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, has officially joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

On June 29, reports surfaced that Anyim had left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC. His formal induction into the party took place on Saturday, alongside other Southeast stakeholders, and was overseen by the APC’s national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.

The event was held at the Abakaliki Stadium during a party rally, with notable attendees including Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, and other party stalwarts.
