Kaduna PDP Suspends Party Secretary for Alleged Anti-Party Activities
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has suspended its State Secretary, Sa’idu Adamu, citing allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Monday by the State Publicity Secretary, Maria Dogo, following a meeting at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna.
According to the statement, the decision was made by the State Working Committee and subsequently ratified by the State Executive Committee. The action is in accordance with Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended).
Adamu’s suspension takes immediate effect and will last for one month, pending the outcome of an internal investigation and further decisions by the party leadership. During this period, he is barred from participating in any party activities at all levels.
“The PDP wishes to assure its members and the general public that the party remains resolutely committed to upholding internal discipline, fairness, and justice under the able leadership of the State Chairman, Edward Masha,” the statement read.
The party emphasized that the suspension is part of broader efforts by the State Working Committee to strengthen internal structures and promote accountability within its ranks.
