Borno South Senator Ali Ndume has declined a new office allocation from the Senate Service Committee, stating it does not align with his seniority and status as a high-ranking senator.

In a letter signed by his Chief Confidential Secretary, Yati Shuaibu Gawu, Ndume expressed his dissatisfaction with being assigned office number 3.10. The letter noted that office assignments are typically made based on seniority, and Ndume, as the most senior senator after Sen. Ahmad Lawan, believes he should be placed in an office on the fourth floor.

This move follows Ndume’s recent removal from his position as Senate Chief Whip, a decision made after he criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration, accusing it of being led by kleptocrats focused on looting the treasury.
