PDP Sets July 27 for Local Government Congress in Jigawa

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has scheduled its local government congress in Jigawa State for July 27, 2024. Ali Diginsa, Chairman of the PDP in Jigawa State, announced the date in a statement to NIGERIA NEWS 247 on Sunday. He affirmed that the party is well-organized and ready for the upcoming congress.

Diginsa stated, “Following the renewal of membership registration across the 287 political wards, we have conducted stakeholder meetings at all levels to prepare for the congress.”PDP

He emphasized that the PDP in Jigawa State remains united under a single leadership, with no internal factions or grievances. The party, he noted, is disciplined and loyal, and enjoys the trust of the people of Jigawa.

“Our preparations extend beyond the local government congress,” Diginsa added. “We are also strategizing to address the current leadership issues in Jigawa and Nigeria, aiming to bring forward leaders committed to national unity, peace, and development.”
