Peter Obi Pledges Unity and Sacrifice in ADC Coalition for 2027 Elections
Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has reaffirmed his commitment to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, pledging collective sacrifice and collaboration to secure Nigeria’s future in the 2027 general elections.
In a post on X, Obi hailed the coalition’s adoption of ADC as its official platform, highlighting the leadership roles of Senator David Mark as National Chairman and former governor Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary.
Obi emphasized that no single group can bring change alone, stating, “To dismantle the structures that keep our people in poverty and insecurity, we must build bridges, not walls even when those bridges are uneasy.”
He assured Nigerians that the coalition aims to deliver “a competent, capable, and compassionate leadership that will prioritise the nation’s future by putting the welfare of Nigerians first.”
Obi concluded with an optimistic message: “A New Nigeria is Possible.”
