Immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, has said that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is consolidating and advancing the institutional reforms initiated by his predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking at the public presentation of the book “According to the President”—authored by former presidential aide Garba Shehu—on Wednesday in Abuja, Mustapha praised the continuity of governance between the two administrations.

According to him, Buhari laid a foundation of systemic reforms, which Tinubu is now strengthening.

“President Buhari governed with duty rather than drama. He was driven by principles, not applause,” Mustapha remarked.

He noted that both Buhari and Tinubu have demonstrated a governance style focused on institutions rather than personalities—prioritizing long-term development over populism.

Mustapha highlighted key achievements under Buhari’s administration, including the passage of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), major infrastructure projects, military modernization, and the rollout of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP).

He also commended Buhari for his work in transforming sectors such as agriculture, power, education, and the digital economy, describing the efforts as integral to building a more inclusive and sustainable national development framework.
