We owe immense debt of gratitude to the men and women in uniform, Says Tambuwal
The former governor of Sokoto state, and Senator Representing Sokoto South, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal said that we owe immense debt of gratitude to the men and women in uniform who have chosen to answer the call of duty, often at great personal cost.
Senator Tambuwal made this known as he paid a solidarity visit to the Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru (CON) to encourage him and the Nigerian military in their ongoing fight against insecurity.
He expressed his profound admiration and support for the tireless efforts of the Nigerian military in confronting the daunting challenge of insecurity that plagues our nation. The sacrifices made by our brave officers and soldiers on the frontlines, risking their lives to protect the citizens of this great country, are a testament to their unwavering courage and dedication, he said.
Senator Tambuwal pointed out that as a nation, we owe an immense debt of gratitude to the men and women in uniform who have chosen to answer the call of duty, often at great personal cost. Their commitment to safeguarding our communities and upholding the values of peace and stability is truly commendable.
He expressed his belief that the fight against insecurity is a collective responsibility, and it is incumbent upon all of us, as citizens and leaders, to rally behind our military forces and provide them with the necessary support and resources to carry out their crucial mission effectively.
He assured the Minister of his unwavering support and that of other well-meaning Nigerians. We stand united in our commitment to defeating the forces of insecurity and ushering in a new era of peace, prosperity, and progress for our beloved nation, he said.
He prayed God continue to guide and protect the valiant officers and soldiers as they selflessly defend our nation’s sovereignty and the freedom of our people.
