Governor Nwifuru Donates 12 Cars To The Newly Ordained Priests Of Abakaliki Diocese

In a display of profound joy and gratitude to God, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the Governor of Ebonyi State, graced the solemn priestly ordination ceremony at St. Theresa’s Catholic Cathedral in Abakaliki. The event saw twelve deacons elevated to the sacred priesthood by His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Peter Nworie Chukwu, Catholic Bishop of Abakaliki Diocese.

The newly ordained priests—Rev. Fr. Andrew Nwankwo, Rev. Fr. Henry Odoh, Rev. Fr. Patrick Ebenyi, Rev. Fr. Cyriacus Nnadi, Rev. Fr. Theophilus Nweke, Rev. Fr. Samuel Ali, Rev. Fr. Jude Ogbodo, Rev. Fr. Christian Nkwuda, Rev. Fr. Anthony Ogbonna, Rev. Fr. Ugochukwu Udechukwu, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Uguru, and Rev. Fr. Simon Nwoba—were warmly welcomed by the Governor, who expressed his heartfelt congratulations and blessings to the new priests.

In a generous gesture befitting the momentous occasion, Governor Nwifuru donated twelve brand-new vehicles—one for each of the newly ordained priests.
