AFCON 2025 Qualifier: Lookman Celebrates Super Eagles’ Victory Over Benin Republic

Ademola Lookman has shared his thoughts on Nigeria’s dominant 3-0 win over the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in their opening match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Atalanta winger played a starring role, netting the Super Eagles’ first and third goals at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday.

The 26-year-old’s performance earned him the Man of the Match award.

Celebrating the victory on social media, Lookman posted on X: “Take off ⚽️ ⚽️ ✔️.”

The Super Eagles now prepare for their next fixture, an away game against Rwanda’s Amavubi on Tuesday.
