AFCON 2025 Qualifier: Super Eagles Depart for Kigali Ahead of Amavubi Showdown
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have departed for Kigali in preparation for Tuesday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda’s Amavubi.
The team, along with their officials, left Uyo’s Victor Attah Airport on Sunday afternoon.
They are scheduled to hold two training sessions in Kigali ahead of the match.
The Super Eagles kicked off their qualifying campaign with a 3-0 win over Benin Republic on Saturday.
The three-time African champions will take on the Amavubi at Kigali’s Amahoro Stadium on Tuesday.
Rwanda earned a 1-1 draw against Libya in their opening match in Tripoli.
