Atiku: Dangote’s fuel production reflects tenacity and can-do spirit
Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has praised Aliko Dangote, founder of the Dangote Group, for his resilience and “can-do spirit.”
Atiku commended Dangote for the start of operations at the Dangote Refinery, which recently announced it is ready to produce Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.
Dangote also noted that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) will determine the pricing of the refinery’s petroleum products.
In a post on X, Atiku wrote, “I congratulate Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the commencement of PMS production at the Dangote Refinery. His tenacity and commitment to Nigeria are evident.
“This achievement is not just a testament to one man’s business acumen but also showcases what corporate Nigeria can contribute to revitalizing the nation’s economy.
“It aligns with my vision of increasing private sector involvement in key economic sectors, whether independently or through partnerships with the state.”
