Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi has been given a modest 4% chance of winning the Ballon d’Or this year. Despite leading Argentina to victory in the 2024 Copa America, Messi is not anticipated to add to his collection of eight Ballon d’Or awards.

According to Score 90, Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior is the frontrunner with a 35% probability of claiming the prestigious award. Manchester City midfielder Rodri follows closely with a 32% chance, while Vinicius’ teammate at Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham, holds an 11% probability.

Another Real Madrid player, Dani Carvajal, ranks fourth with a 7% chance. The Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place in October 2024.
