Scott Forrest vs Gradus Kraus Confirmed for Crocker-McComb Undercard
A surprise cruiserweight showdown has been announced with just under 48 hours to go, as Scott Forrest and unbeaten Dutch prospect Gradus Kraus have agreed to face off in a high-stakes eight-rounder.
The fight will take place tomorrow night at Sheffield’s Park Community Arena as part of the GMB Sports card headlined by Ben Crocker vs Sean McComb.
Kraus (7-0, 7 KOs), who was originally scheduled to fight an unnamed opponent on the undercard, now finds himself in the toughest test of his young career—stepping up in both weight and opposition against Forrest (7-1, 4 KOs).
Promoter Izzy Asif confirmed the matchup via Instagram, revealing that Forrest was brought in last-minute after three other opponents withdrew.
Kraus, 24, is known for his flashy entrances—often walking out with his daughter to music—and his all-action style, having finished every opponent inside the distance. Until now, however, his competition has been limited, and tomorrow’s bout marks his first outing at 200lbs.
Forrest, a 31-year-old former GB amateur standout, is looking to bounce back after a shock first-round stoppage loss to Aurel Ignat in February. That defeat briefly derailed the momentum he built following an impressive second-round KO over Deevorn Miller just weeks prior.
Now, Forrest has a chance to reassert himself in the domestic cruiserweight scene—despite the short notice.
With two heavy-handed fighters eager to make a statement, and both stepping into the unknown in different ways, this late addition may well steal the show in Sheffield.
