Calafiori Heads to UK for Arsenal Medicals

Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori is set to travel to the UK today for medicals with Arsenal.

The Italy international is close to finalizing a move to the Gunners after the club agreed to a €50m (£42.1m) fee. Following his medicals, Calafiori will join Mikel Arteta’s squad for their pre-season tour in the US.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted on Friday morning, “Riccardo Calafiori is planned to travel from Italy to London today. He will undergo the first part of his medical tests in London before joining Arteta and the squad in the US.”
