Champions League: Supercomputer predicts winner ahead of Quarter finals
Ahead of the quarter-finals, the Opta Supercomputer has identified the frontrunners for this year’s Champions League title.
Manchester City is set to take on Real Madrid, while Arsenal will clash with Bayern Munich this week, with the winners advancing to face each other.
Meanwhile, Barcelona will challenge PSG, and Borussia Dortmund will meet Atletico Madrid in the other matches.
According to Opta’s analysis, Atletico Madrid is considered to have only a 5% chance of winning the trophy.
Arsenal has been assigned a 13.6% likelihood of winning the competition and a 58.5% probability of reaching the semi-finals. PSG ranks as the third favorite with a 14.7% chance, while Real Madrid is believed to have a 15% chance of emerging victorious.
Manchester City, under Pep Guardiola’s leadership, is heavily favored by the data to defend their title. They hold a 60% chance of progressing to the semi-finals and defeating Real Madrid, with a 41.2% chance of ultimately winning the tournament at Wembley.
