Champions Emerge at 2025 EVUSA/USEF Vaulting National Championship

2025 EVUSA USEF Vaulting National Championship

The Murieta Equestrian Center in Rancho Murieta, Calif., hosted the 2025 EVUSA/USEF Vaulting National Championships, where three days of competition showcased the growth, athleticism, and artistry of the sport. Top athletes from across the country delivered impressive routines aboard their equine partners, with national champions crowned in the 3*, 2*, and 1* divisions.

3* Division Highlights

The 3* division featured world-class performances. Kimberly Palmer (Half Moon Bay Vaulters) dominated the women’s championship on Jameson C.R., scoring an overall 8.308 after topping all three phases. Caroline Morse (Silicon Valley Vaulting Club) followed closely on Grasshopper Af with 8.015 for reserve champion, while Emily Rose (Pacific Coast Vaulting Club) placed third with 7.693 aboard El Doctro.

On the men’s side, Jace Brooks (Wasatch Peak Vaulters) claimed the title on Touch Of The Guinness Blues with a final 7.061, thanks to consistent performances across compulsories, technical, and freestyle.

2* Division Highlights

The 2* level spotlighted rising stars in squad, pas de deux, and individual competition.

Pacific Coast Vaulting Club (Emmalyn & Evalyn Rotter, Clea & Nina Limbrey, Sierra Hassett, Francesca Foster, Jade Parker) won the 2 B Squad* aboard El Doctro with a 7.250 average.

In 2 Pas de Deux*, Yumi Idehara & Audrey Garrahan (Woodside Vaulters) on Pino Del Rio delivered two strong freestyles for the title with 8.059. The Rotter sisters (Pacific Coast) finished second on Duke Wilhem.

Kylynn Ghafouri (Davon Equestrian Vaulters) dominated the 2 Young Vaulter/Gold Individual* aboard Rotary 21, finishing on 7.980.

In the highly contested 2 Silver Individual*, Emi Yang (Four Winds Vaulting) was untouchable, winning with 8.060 after standout freestyles on Lucero De La Noche and Grasshopper Af. Woodside’s Audrey Garrahan and Yumiko Idehara completed the podium.

On the men’s side, Larry Markegard (Wasatch Peak Vaulters) secured the championship on Pino Del Rio with 7.248 overall.

1* Division Highlights

The 1* classes celebrated the sport’s future stars, blending teamwork, artistry, and technical skill.

Woodside Vaulters won the 1 C Squad* with a combined 5.997, while EVX Vaulting Club placed second.

Francesca Foster (Golden Gate Vaulters) took the 1 Bronze Individual Female* title with 7.208 on El Doctro.

In 1 Trot Squad*, Woodside Vaulters claimed gold on Boscoe with 5.993, while Tall City Vaulters’ “Sassy Team Sisters” earned the 1 Canter 2-Phase Squad* crown with 6.912.

The 1 Trot 2-Phase Squad* title went to Golden Gate Vaulters (6.520 on Xena).

Pas de Deux honors included Pacific Coast’s Sophia Smoot & Megan Murphy winning the 1 Canter Pas de Deux* on Mega (6.078) and Golden Gate’s Ariana Jimenez & Emily Burns taking the 1 Trot Pas de Deux* crown on Xena (6.346).

In the 1 Copper Individual*, Georgina Olamendi (LAEVC) topped the women’s standings with 6.902 on California, while Landon Rupp (Hope Falls Vaulting Club) led the men’s division with 6.505 on Oakley.
