Both England and Spain are poised for success at Euro 2024, with England aiming to end their long drought and Spain seeking to secure a fourth Euro Championship title.

In December 2023, the UEFA Executive Committee finalized the prize money distribution system for participating teams in the tournament. The total prize money of €331 million mirrors that of UEFA EURO 2020.

– Participating fee: €9.25 million

– Match bonus: €1.0 million for a win and €500,000 for a draw

– Qualification to the round of 16: €1.5 million

– Qualification to the semi-finals: €4 million

– Runners-up receive an additional payment of €5 million

– The champions of Euro 2024 will receive an extra payment of €8 million

A champion team could potentially earn up to €28.25 million if they win all three of their group matches.

UEFA disclosed on Monday that the tournament’s revenue is generated from media rights, global sponsorships, ticket sales, hospitality, and licensing.
