CHAN 2024: Oyowah Proud to Be MOTM as Nigeria Beats Congo

Alex Oyowah expressed his delight after being named Man of the Match in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory against Congo at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The 20-year-old Rivers United forward made his tournament debut in the match, impressing with a standout performance that justified his surprise inclusion in the squad.

“I feel very proud to have been named Man of the Match in our game against Congo,” Oyowah said, as reported by CAF online.

Despite the win, the Home Eagles were eliminated early from the competition and are expected to return to Nigeria on Thursday.
