Frank Onyeka Transfer: Lampard Shares Reason Behind Move to Coventry

Coventry City head coach Frank Lampard has praised the arrival of Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka, insisting the player’s experience will strengthen the team’s push for promotion to the Premier League.

Onyeka joined Coventry from Brentford in January and could make his debut against Oxford United this Saturday.

In an interview with the Coventry Telegraph, Lampard said:
“He brings a different quality and probably a different profile to the midfield players we have. The profile is slightly different and I think that helps us in terms of the options and the competition in the middle of the park for us.”

The Nigerian international’s addition adds depth to Coventry’s midfield as Lampard looks to bolster his squad for the Championship run-in.
