Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi could be on his way to the Bundesliga this summer, with several German clubs reportedly expressing interest in the Nigeria international.

According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Ndidi is a target for multiple clubs in Germany’s top flight. In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, Plettenberg wrote:

“Wilfred #Ndidi has also received requests from Bundesliga clubs. A summer transfer is possible for the 28-year-old defensive midfielder from Leicester. Price valuation: €15 million. One to watch.”

Ndidi, who joined Leicester from Belgian side Genk in 2017 for €17 million, has been a consistent performer for the Foxes over the years. However, following Leicester City’s relegation from the English Premier League last season, the Super Eagles star is expected to move on, with his reported release clause now set at €9 million.

In addition to interest from Germany, Ndidi has been linked with Manchester United, Juventus, Everton, and several clubs in Saudi Arabia.

The 29-year-old remains a sought-after defensive midfielder due to his tackling prowess, work rate, and experience at both club and international levels.
