Man City Make Transfer Decisions Regarding Akanji and Rodrygo
Manchester City are reportedly open to selling defender Manuel Akanji to Galatasaray during this summer transfer window. According to Fabrizio Romano, Pep Guardiola is keen to slim down his squad this season, which has prompted negotiations between Man City and Akanji’s representatives. However, no deal has been finalized yet.
Galatasaray officials are currently in the UK to push the deal forward.
On another front, Man City are interested in Real Madrid’s Rodrygo but plan to pursue him only if their own winger, Savinho, moves to Tottenham Hotspur. Rodrygo’s future remains uncertain, as he was an unused substitute in Real Madrid’s 1-0 LaLiga win over Osasuna.
Rodrygo has also been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham this summer, adding more intrigue to the transfer market shuffle.
