Wikki Tourists Appoint Gimba as New Team Manager Ahead of NPFL Season

Former Wikki Tourists player, Yusuf Gimba, has been appointed as the new manager of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Wikki Tourists.

Gimba, a club legend, was part of the Wikki Tourists squad that clinched the NPFL title in 1992. His return to the Bauchi-based club comes as part of strategic reinforcements ahead of the 2025/26 NPFL campaign.

The appointment follows a flurry of pre-season activity by the club, including the signing of nine new players aimed at strengthening the squad.

Wikki Tourists will begin their new season with a high-stakes fixture against Plateau United.
