Wilfred Ndidi Poised for Besiktas Debut Against Eyupspor in Turkey

Wilfred Ndidi is expected to make his debut for Turkish club Besiktas in their match against Eyupspor today, Sunday, Nigeria News 247 reports.

The Nigerian defensive midfielder completed a permanent transfer to the Black Eagles from Leicester City, a Sky Bet Championship side, earlier this month. Ndidi signed a three-year deal with an option to extend for an additional year.

The 28-year-old was recently listed among the substitutes in Besiktas’ UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying match against St Patrick’s Athletic. Besiktas emerged victorious in a closely fought 3-2 game, securing a 5-2 aggregate win to advance to the playoff stage.

Ndidi’s wealth of experience is expected to play a crucial role as Besiktas aims to challenge Galatasaray for the league title this season.
