Pep Guardiola has reaffirmed his commitment to Manchester City amid the ongoing search for a new England manager.

The Football Association (FA) is in the process of finding a successor to Gareth Southgate, who stepped down after England’s defeat to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.

With the FA’s application deadline having passed on August 2, Guardiola has emphasized his contentment at City, where he has one season remaining on his contract.

“I am here and really pleased,” Guardiola told reporters. “I can’t comment on where these rumors have come from. I am very satisfied at Manchester City and eagerly awaiting the return of the players so we can start training together and focus on our goals.”
