Zlatan Ibrahimovic, now serving as a senior advisor at AC Milan, has excluded Divock Origi from the team’s dressing room. The former Liverpool striker has been relegated to the youth team after being informed that he is no longer part of the club’s future plans.

Following a second-place finish behind Serie A rivals Inter last season, Ibrahimovic is already strategizing for the upcoming season. He has determined that Origi, who spent the previous season on loan at Nottingham Forest, does not fit into these plans.

Origi, 29, joined Milan on a free transfer from Liverpool in 2022, signing a four-year contract. However, according to a report by Fabrizio Romano, Ibrahimovic has stated: “Divock Origi and Fode Ballo-Toure are not part of our plans. They will be part of the youth team as they’re not included in our project.”
