England winger Jadon Sancho is on the verge of completing a move to Juventus after the Italian giants reached an agreement with Manchester United for a £17.3 million transfer fee.

United have been keen to offload the 25-year-old this summer, with the player’s future at Old Trafford looking increasingly uncertain.

This development follows Chelsea’s recent decision to reject the chance to sign Sancho for £25 million, instead paying United a £5 million penalty fee to return him to Manchester. Sancho was also close to joining Napoli after reaching a verbal agreement, but Antonio Conte’s side ultimately refused to meet United’s £21.3 million asking price.

According to La Stampa, Juventus held a positive meeting with Manchester United this week and successfully agreed on a £17.3 million deal for the England international. The report adds that Sancho has already agreed personal terms with Juventus, which will see him earn just over £5.2 million per season.

However, a final hurdle remains, as Sancho and United have yet to agree on a severance package. The former Borussia Dortmund star is reportedly demanding at least £4.3 million to terminate his contract with the Premier League club.
