Kylian Mbappe Finalizes Long-Awaited Transfer to Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé has finalized his highly anticipated move to Real Madrid after reaching terms with the club, reports say.

Mbappé, who announced in May that he would leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract, is PSG’s all-time leading goalscorer.

The 25-year-old’s future had been the subject of intense speculation, with Real Madrid persistently pursuing him despite PSG’s insistence that he was not for sale.

Mbappé had hinted at joining a new club but remained vague about the details.

“Because I think the best thing to do is to finish saying goodbye,” Mbappé said after the Coupe de France triumph. “All I wanted was to finish well.

“There is a time for everything. I will announce my new club in due course. It will be only a few days away, so there is no problem,” he added.

Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano also reported that the 15-time UEFA Champions League winners will soon announce the signing.
