Barcelona Manager Xavi Hernandez Explains Decision to Stay at Club

Xavi Hernandez, the manager of Barcelona, has revealed the reasons behind his choice to remain at the LaLiga club.

Despite announcing his departure as head coach in January, Xavi, 44, has opted to extend his tenure at the Nou Camp, despite having a contract until 2025.

This change of heart follows a meeting with the club’s president, Joan Laporta, and other top officials on Wednesday.

Speaking about his decision, Xavi stated, “I reversed my decision because I felt genuine confidence from the president, the board, and the players. This project is not yet complete.”

He continued, “My team and I are united in our belief that we have the capability to achieve significant goals together and continue building on this project.”
