Man Utd ruled out as three clubs battling to sign Osimhen
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has dismissed reports of Manchester United pursuing a move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
In an update shared on his YouTube channel, Romano confirmed that Juventus, Al Hilal, and Galatasaray remain the only clubs actively vying for the Napoli forward’s signature.
“At the moment, there is still no breakthrough in the story regarding Manchester United trying to sign Osimhen, and nothing is expected in the coming hours,” Romano said.
“I keep receiving many questions from Manchester United fans, but currently, I’m not aware of any concrete negotiations between Manchester United and Napoli for Victor Osimhen.”
Romano added that Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal and Turkish club Galatasaray — where Osimhen spent last season on loan — are both working on deals to secure the striker.
“Galatasaray are trying, with a different financial proposal compared to Al-Hilal, so both clubs are in talks to sign Victor Osimhen.”
Regarding Juventus, he said:
“Juventus called in recent weeks about Osimhen, but right now, Galatasaray and Al-Hilal are the main clubs pushing to finalize a deal.”
