Manchester City Striker Liam Delap Joins Ipswich Town on Permanent Deal

Manchester City striker Liam Delap has completed a permanent transfer to newly promoted Premier League club Ipswich Town. The England Under-21 international first appeared in Manchester City’s senior team under manager Pep Guardiola in September 2020, notably scoring a remarkable goal in a 2-1 Carabao Cup third-round victory against Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.

During his time with Manchester City, Delap made a total of six senior appearances, including his Premier League debut against Leicester City in September 2020 and an appearance in the Champions League against Sporting in February 2021. He also gained experience on loan at Stoke City and Preston North End.
