Mbappé’s X Account Hacked: Insults Messi and Trolling Chelsea
Early Thursday, Kylian Mbappé’s X (formerly Twitter) account was hacked, resulting in a series of controversial tweets that have since been deleted.
The hacked account saw Mbappé making provocative comments, including a tease about a potential move to Manchester United and taking sides in the Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi rivalry.
One tweet implied Mbappé might join Manchester United in 2028, while another dismissed Chelsea as “washed,” despite rumors he might be a fan of the West London club. Additionally, the hacked account included disparaging remarks about Messi and controversial political statements.
One X user, #CFC_Janty, highlighted the tweets before they were deleted, which also included offensive comments about various groups and teams.
Responses to the hack varied, with some users expressing disbelief and others questioning the credibility of the tweets. User #haiwe_xtm suggested that the account was clearly hacked, while #GucciStarboi and #Big_5ve supported this view, noting that the content was inconsistent with Mbappé’s known stance.
Mbappé, who recently joined Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain, has not addressed the situation publicly yet. His performance with Real Madrid has been mixed, with a goal in the UEFA Super Cup but none in his La Liga appearances so far.
