A homicide inquiry has been initiated following the death of a man outside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. According to Metropolitan Police, the incident occurred in Northumberland Park early on Sunday morning, where the victim, bearing multiple stab wounds, was discovered and pronounced dead despite attempts at resuscitation. No suspects have been apprehended thus far.

In light of this tragedy, Tottenham has announced the closure of the north end of Worcester Avenue and Northumberland Park Road, affirming their cooperation with the ongoing police investigation.

While the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest is slated to proceed as planned, supporters are advised of road closures and potential travel disruptions.

Chief Inspector Stephen Johnston-Keay expressed condolences for the deceased and assured the community of exhaustive efforts by specialized detectives to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
