Napoli has singled out a top striker as their target to replace Oshimen

Napoli has pinpointed Lille striker Jonathan David as their primary target to fill the void left by departing Victor Osimhen.

Despite Osimhen extending his contract with Napoli in December, he is poised to depart the club at the end of the season.

Paris Saint-Germain leads the race to acquire him as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is bound for Real Madrid. Chelsea is also reportedly keen on securing the Nigerian forward as their star signing to elevate the club’s performance.

La Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that Jonathan David is Napoli’s top choice. David has impressively netted 23 goals and provided 7 assists in 39 matches this season, maintaining a similar level of performance from the previous campaign in 2022-2023.
