Not Even a Month In… and Nottingham Forest Already Eyeing Another SHOCK Manager Change?
Nottingham Forest’s board is actively reassessing the position of head coach Ange Postecoglou following a troubling seven-match winless streak. As reported by the Daily Mail, Fulham manager Marco Silva has emerged as a potential replacement should Forest opt to make a change. Silva is under contract with Fulham until the end of the season, and his high release clause presents a significant obstacle. Nonetheless, he is said to be the club’s top target if Postecoglou is dismissed.
Following Forest’s 2-0 defeat to Newcastle, Postecoglou confirmed he will meet with club owner Evangelos Marinakis in the coming days to discuss his future. Marinakis, who has owned the club for eight years, is known for preferring managerial appointments involving out-of-work candidates to avoid drawn-out negotiations and costly compensation packages.
Forest currently sits 17th in the Premier League, just one point above the relegation zone.
