NPFL: Rangers Sign Usman on Two-Year Deal

Rangers have signed Bashir Usman from Niger Tornadoes on a two-year contract, NIGERIA NEWS 247 reports. The Nigeria Premier Football League champions have been bolstering their squad as they prepare to defend their title and participate in other competitions.

The Flying Antelopes secured Usman’s signature ahead of several clubs within and outside Nigeria.

Usman, after signing the contract, stated, “It’s a great deal for me to find myself in Enugu to contribute my quota towards helping Rangers do well in the league and on the continent. I strongly believe that with the quality players on ground, we shall make our fans and supporters happy at the end of the season.”

The winger joins a strong list of signings by Rangers in the off-season, which includes Tekena Gerando, Evans Ogbonda, Hillary Ekawu, Ernest Governor, Anayor Ogbonna, Lucky Abdullahi, Macben Otika, Ekeson Okorie, Somtochukwu Nwobodo, Chimaobi Igwilo, and Onyekachi Okafor.
