Okocha Urges Osimhen to Choose a Club Where He’ll Be ‘Visible’

Former Super Eagles captain, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, has advised Victor Osimhen to join a club where he will remain “visible” to fans, as speculation over the striker’s next move continues to build.

The 26-year-old Napoli star is widely expected to leave the Italian side this summer but has yet to finalize his next destination. Despite receiving lucrative offers, Osimhen has reportedly rejected a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.

Turkish giants Galatasaray, where Osimhen spent time on loan last season, are keen to sign him on a permanent basis.

Speaking about the forward’s future, Okocha emphasized the importance of playing in a league where fans—especially Nigerians—can watch him regularly.

“The decision will be his, of course. But we, as his fans, would love to have the opportunity to watch him week in, week out,” Okocha said.
“So wherever he decides to go, we still love him. But we would love to be seeing him. I cannot tell him where to go—I’m not his manager.”

Osimhen’s next move is shaping up to be one of the major transfer stories of the summer, with fans and clubs eagerly awaiting his decision.
