Paris 2024: Minister Urges Super Falcons to Shatter Jinx in South Africa
Minister of Sports Development, John Owan Enoh, has urged the Super Falcons of Nigeria to secure victory against their South African rivals in the upcoming second leg of their Olympic qualifiers in Pretoria, scheduled for Tuesday.
Enoh’s directive was conveyed through an official statement released on Sunday in Abuja. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) has reported that the Super Falcons clinched a 1-0 win over South Africa’s Bayana Bayana in the first leg held in Abuja on Friday, marking their first Olympic qualification in women’s football in 16 years.
