Poncho Serna to Serve as Performance Analyst for Super Falcons at 2024 Olympics

According to NIGERIA NEWS 247, Poncho Serna has announced his role as performance analyst with the Super Falcons during the 2024 Olympic Games.

In a social media post, Serna expressed his excitement about the opportunity: “I am thrilled to share that I will be supporting the Nigerian women’s team (@NGSuper_Falcons) with performance analysis during the Olympics.”

The Super Falcons are making a comeback to the Olympics after a 16-year absence. Under the guidance of Randy Waldrum, the team is placed in Group C alongside Spain, Japan, and Brazil.

Preparations for the Olympics began last weekend in Sevilla, Spain. The Super Falcons’ first match will be against Brazil in Paris on Thursday, July 25, followed by games against Spain and Japan.
