Key changes include:

1. Substitute Warm-Ups:

Teams can now have five substitutes warming up simultaneously, up from three in the previous season. This aligns with the rule allowing five substitutions per match.

2. Multiball System:

To speed up play, 15 balls will be used. When the match ball goes out of play, players must retrieve a replacement from the nearest cone themselves. Ball assistants will no longer return balls directly to players, except for goalkeepers at the ends where the balls go out.

3. Technical Area Rules:

Staff or players who intentionally delay the restart of play by holding or kicking the ball will face penalties. Technical area staff will be sent off, while players will receive yellow cards.

4. Added Time Calculation:

Added time will only be calculated if the delay between a goal and the next kick-off exceeds 30 seconds. This aims to reduce excessive stoppage time, potentially leading to shorter added periods.
