The Argentine has tipped Messi ahead of Ronaldo, describing the Inter Miami star as “something else.”
Speaking on DAZN, Garay dismissed claims that Ronaldo is the greatest of all time, saying: “No. The number one is Leo Messi and the number two is Cristiano. Leo is something else.”
Garay shared the pitch with Ronaldo in 23 matches during their time at Real Madrid, while he featured alongside Messi in 41 games across Argentina’s U-20 and senior national teams.
